Addie’s Studio 8th Annual REMODEL YOUR BODY™ & 1st Annual MOVE YOUR BODY for kids

Benefiting Autism Tree Project Foundation

In 2007 Addie’s first child Reese was diagnosed with Autism. Addie owns Addie’s Personal Training Studio that hosts the “Remodel Your Body” Challenge. The last two years Addie’s raised over $14,000. This year our goal is $20,000.

The Challenge: Lose the greatest relative amount of body fat and gain the most relative amount of muscle in 8 weeks

Start Date: April 3rd
Body fat measurements 9-11am at Addie’s Personal Training Studio

Boot Camps: Start April 10th– May 27th on Saturday’s from 9-9:50am at Kate Sessions Park in Pacific Beach.

End Date: May 29th
Body fat measurements 9-11am at Addie’s Personal Training Studio

Awards Ceremony: June 5th 12-3pm
The winner will receive a voucher for 12-25 minute personal training sessions at Addies valued at $720

Entry Fee: $100 per adult (REMODEL YOUR BODY)/ $50 per kid 5yrs.-12 yrs. old (MOVE YOUR BODY)- includes 7 boot camp workouts. Everyone is eligible, encourage family, co-workers and friends

Take advantage of doing something positive for your own health while aiding a very noble cause.  Workout in a fantastic location (see below) with some really knowledgable trainers as you compete against your fellow bootcampers.  Sounds like a great thing for those who may need that little extra motivation to get themselves going for the summer.

San Diego Mud Run

To all my fellow Southern Californians:

The Mud Run is a challenging 5K run held in La Mesa, California (20 minutes east of downtown San Diego).  The run is filled with hills, obstacles, 4-foot walls with mud, tunnel crawls, slippery hill climbs, and tons of mud pits.  There are a variety of age groups and brackets to keep things competitive.  Entering races like this is a great way to meet new people, put a fun spin on fitness, and find new ways to motivate yourself.  Motivating yourself is key to building and maintaining an everlasting fitness lifestyle.  Always be on the look out for new things that will challenge your body and mind.    The next race will be held March 21st, 2010; but register early, it is known to sell out quick.
